Wheeler Mansion in Business Week

http://budurl.com/bz96

Located two blocks north of McCormick Place Convention Center, just east of Indiana Avenue in the Prairie Preservation District of Chicago’s South Loop, The Wheeler Mansion is truly a Chicago treasure. Originally built in 1870, it is one of the last remaining stately mansions that survived the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. The residence was among one of the earliest constructed in the South Prairie Avenue neighborhood (Prairie Avenue District), home to Chicago’s early mercantile and industrial barons and Chicago’s first “Gold Coast” during the last quarter of the 19th century. After the property’s meticulous restoration in 1999, the city recognized The Wheeler Mansion by honoring the home with the Preservation Excellence Award and the Friends of Downtown Award. The mansion is a Chicago Landmark (Wheeler/Kohn House), as well as a National Landmark, because of its architectural attributes and important historical significance. Tres Generaciones Tequila

Tres Generaciones Tequila is triple distilled to create the smoothest tequila experience possible. Unlike some tequila, Tres Generaciones is made from 100 percent estate-grown, Blue Weber Agave, which is handpicked from the family’s nursery at the Sauza ranch in Jalisco, Mexico.

If you are not already acquainted with our history, Don Cenobio Sauza created his signature award-winning tequila in 1873. In fact, Don Cenobio was responsible for giving tequila its very name. He also was the first to export the golden drink to the United States. Over the years, his son Don Eladio and grandson Don Javier continued his legacy. They not only managed the distillery during difficult post-revolution years, they also traveled the world gaining international attention as they fought to protect the integrity of Mexico’s native spirit.
